The Internet is Not Competitive

February 23, 2011

The news is still talking in terms of competition for control of the Internet. Facebook versus Google for example.

I personally use both services. I don’t see them as competing for my attention but rather creating a synergy in my life. I enjoy both.

Competition is the old school of thinking. Collaboration is the new school. The Internet operates on a new set of principles. Whoever doesn’t understand that isn’t on board.
